SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Full Time
The Role
As a full-stack software engineer at AQS, you will be given the authority and autonomy to work on projects of real value to customers. As a member of a small team, you will be trusted to go everywhere from frontend to backend to infrastructure as you see fit. We are looking for someone who is smart and gets things done.
Technology
Frontend: TypeScript (Angular framework)
Backend: TypeScript (on Node.js)
API: GraphQL (we use Hasura)
Infrastructure: AWS managed with Terraform
Requirements
Strong competency in front end development using Angular (not AngularJS)
Asynchronous JavaScript/TypeScript for back end development
The entirety of AQS platform is written in TypeScript with heavy use of promises, callbacks, and async/await.
Candidates will need to provide their own Mac or Linux computer to be compatible with Terraform (knowledge on Terraform preferred but not required)
Required Skills
Strong Communicator – you can effectively express your ideas clearly
Flexibility – ability to work with colleagues in different timezones
Mentorship – ability to lead by example and provide and receive constructive feedback
Other Preferred Skills
Knowledge of GraphQL
Comfort on the command line (Linux/Unix)

Advanced Quality Systems ILLUMINA provides you with an automated workflow to analyze and complete your quality control requirements for your diagnostic imaging equipment (CT, MRI, Mammography).
The AQS cloud native system uses sophisticated pattern recognition algorithms and image analysis to quickly analyze the phantom images and calculates all the required values for Vendor’s, ACR and Joint Commission (TJC) compliant tests.
The AQS system drives improved consistent standardized compliance reports and reduces overall management overhead for QC operations. This provides a reduction in costs and enabling Radiology staff to spend more time filming and providing increased value added care – all with the push of a button.
